To replace filter, timestrip, and
optional scent cartridge
NOTE: A filter should last up to 3 months, depending on use.
1. Remove odor eliminator from outlet. Open cover of odor eliminator
and remove the used filter.
3. Discard used filter. Remove plastic bag from new filter and
install new filter, fitting notched corner of filter around notched
edge of odor eliminator. Use only Hamliton Beach filter, part
number 04290, 04291, or 04294.
3. A replacement timestrip is provided with the new filter. Activate
the timestrip by pressing the foil bubble. Place timestrip in
timestrip slot.
4. Scent cartridge should last up to 30 days; replace when
diminished. Use only Hamilton Beach TrueAir® Green Meadow
scent cartridges, part number 04600.
5. To replace, discard used scent cartridge. Remove a new
scent cartridge from package and insert into clip. Slide scent
cartridge assembly into notch on back of unit.

is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other

How to use
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.
During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this
product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however,

and our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the
product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar
one of equal or greater value.
This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not
in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product
resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends
only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original
sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim.
This warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family
household use.
We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages
caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to
the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any
statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by
law, in which case such warranty or condition is limited to the
duration of this written warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal

1. Open the grill of the odor eliminator by pulling on the opening
tabs.
2. Remove plastic bag from the filter. Place the filter in the odor
eliminator, fitting notched corner of the filter around notched
edge of the odor eliminator.

3. Activate the timestrip by pressing foil bubble. Place the
timestrip in the timestrip slot. Red ink will be time-released.
When the indicator is full, it is time to replace the filter. A new
timestrip will be provided with the purchase of a new filter.
NOTE: The life of the filter is determined by use. If the odor
eliminator is used continuously for strong odors, such as a cat
litter box or diaper pail, it may need to be replaced at 1 month.
If only used occasionally, such as in a guest bathroom, it may
last longer.
4. Remove the scent cartridge and clip from plastic wrapping.
Assemble cartridge and clip; then slide scent cartridge assembly
into notch on back of unit. NOTE: Scent cartridges are optional
accessories on select models.
